WHO ARE WE?
Based in Whaley Bridge, we are a group of 4 ‘not for profit’ crafters working together to raise money for people in crisis.
When we are together we drink, we nibble, we chat (a lot) and we busy ourselves crafting and creating

WHAT ARE WE DOING?
We are joining forces to raise awareness and raise funds to go directly to The Disasters Emergency Committee or DEC.
The DEC brings together 15 leading aid charities to raise funds quickly and efficiently at times of crisis overseas. In these times of crisis, people in life-and-death situations need our help and their mission is to save, protect and rebuild lives through effective humanitarian response.
We are selling our hand made products including …….through our social media platforms @…. and directly at the fabulous May’s Parlour in Horwich End. All proceeds are going directly to DEC.
For every £1 donated to DEC, the government will also contribute £1 of UK aid, to help these projects go further in changing and saving lives.
WHY ARE WE DOING IT?
We have all been touched by the devastating news footage from the Ukraine. At least 3 million people have fled their homes to escape the conflict. Heavy fighting, shelling and air strikes across the country have had devastating consequences for civilians. Homes have been destroyed. Families have been separated. Lives have been lost. At Ukraine’s borders with Poland, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia and Moldova, huge numbers of people are arriving with only what they can carry. These people desperately need our help.
